Wilmington Onsite Association Manager Receives AMS Designation

PCAM Professional Community Association Manager LogoWe are pleased to announce that Ashley Ritchie has earned her Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation from the Community Associations Institute. The AMS designation is the second level in the career development track for community association managers.

Ashley joined Priestley Management Company in May of 2018 as the on-site manager for Station One in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. She has been in the community association management field since 2014.

To achieve the AMS designation, managers must have at least two years verified experience in financial, administrative, and facilities management for at least one Association and successfully completed at least two M-200 level courses. Additionally, they must have passed the CMCA exam administered by CAMICB. Finally, to maintain the designations, managers must meet the continuing education requirement of one CAI course as well as eight hours of other industry related education.

CAI is an international membership organization dedicated to building better communities. CAI provides information, education, and resources to the homeowner volunteers who govern communities and the professionals who support them. CAI members include association board members and other homeowner leaders, community managers, association management firms, and other professionals who provide products and services to associations.
